We collect your personal information:
- Directly from you when you provide it to us.
- Automatically as you navigate through the Site collected through cookies and other tracking technologies.
- From third parties, for example, our business partners.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT THROUGH AUTOMATIC DATA COLLECTION TECHNOLOGIES
As you navigate through and interact with our Site, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns (collectively, “Automatic Data”).
The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:
- Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Site. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Site.
There are two types of cookies: (1) First-party cookies are created by the site you visited. The site is shown in the address bar. (2) Third-party cookies are created by other sites. These sites own some of the content, like videos or images, that you see on the webpage you visit. The first-party cookies are mostly necessary for the Site to function the right way, and they do not collect any of your Personal Data. The third-party cookies used on our Site are used mainly for understanding how the Site performs, how you interact with our Site, keeping our services secure, providing advertisements that are relevant to you, and all in all providing you with a better and improved user experience and help speed up your future interactions with our Site.
- Web Beacons. Pages of our Site may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit CapTech, for example, to count users who have visited certain webpages and for other related statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content on the Website and verifying system and server integrity).
- “Cookies”, “Flash Cookies” and “Web Beacons” (collectively, “User Attribution Devices”) help facilitate and enhance the Site’s communications and interactions with you. CapTech may share information collected via User Attribution Devices with third parties, including without limitation advertising, analytics and social media websites, platforms and applications, to inform, optimize and serve information and content to you, including without limitation advertisements. You may opt-out of collection and use of information by certain User Attribution Devices in connection with your use of the Site by: (i) visiting http://optout.aboutads.info/; and/or (ii) setting your Internet browser to refuse certain types of User Attribution Devices, such as cookies.
- Some content on the Site is served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies (alone or in conjunction with other User Attribution Devices) to collect information about you when you use our Site. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. We may not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

We may also use your Personal Data to contact you about CapTech news and updates and about our own and third parties’ goods and services that may be of interest to you. We may also use the information we have collected from you to enable us to display advertisements to our advertisers’ target audiences. Even though we do not disclose your Personal Data for these purposes without your consent, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may assume that you meet its target criteria.
HOW CAN I CONTROL HOW CAPTECH USES AND DISCLOSES MY INFORMATION?
To process your Personal Data, we rely upon your consent, contract performance, our legitimate business interest, or compliance with law. You may object or restrict our processing of your Personal Data. You may withdraw any prior consent you may have given to process your Personal Data at any time. It is also within your rights to refuse to provide any Personal Data we request. However, refusal to provide certain Personal Data may limit your access to information or use of the Site.
Should you wish to access or amend any Personal Data you may have provided to us or if you wish to request deletion, please contact us at [email protected].
You may also exercise the following controls over your Personal Data:
- Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the Site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
- Promotional Offers from CapTech. If you do not wish to have your email address used by us to promote our own or third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to [email protected]. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to CapTech as a result of services retained or other related transactions.
In any such case of your withdrawal of consent, you acknowledge that there may be a delay before we fully implement your request and you may therefore still be contacted by us for a period of time thereafter. Notwithstanding your withdrawal of consent, CapTech may subsequently contact you for other purposes that are unrelated to marketing and/or selling, including without limitation legal or regulatory purposes. Please be aware that applicable laws, statues, rules and/or regulations may require or permit the collection, processing, retention, use and disclosure of your Personal Data without your consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, pursuant to applicable laws, statues, rules and/or regulations or other reasons, there may be circumstances in which you may not withdraw your consent to the collection, processing, use, retention and disclosure of your Personal Data.
We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (”NAI”) on the NAI’s website located at http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1.
Most Internet browsers can be set to transmit digital “Do Not Track” requests to websites. Such sites may but are not required to comply with “Do Not Track” requests. We honor this feature and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when this mechanism is in place. CapTech also does not permit third party behavioral tracking.
Should you decide to change your preferences later through your browsing session, you can click on the “Privacy & Cookie Policy” link on the bottom of your screen. This will display the consent notice again enabling you to change your preferences or withdraw your consent entirely.
The “Help” section of the browser toolbar will inform you how to have notifications enabled when a new cookie is received, to prevent your browser from accepting a new cookie, or from disabling the use of cookies completely. Disabling cookies completely may cause CapTech’s Site features not to function as intended. Some browsers permit enablement of a “Do Not Track” feature.
OUR USE OF GOOGLE
We use Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic and navigation preferences for CapTech’s Site. You may opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights. We may also link to other websites which are controlled by third parties. These third-party websites are not under CapTech’s control. Thus, once you have clicked these links and are on the third-party websites, you and your data are subject to the privacy notices or privacy policies of the third parties and not CapTech. Once navigating away from CapTech’s Site, we recommend you take the opportunity to familiarize yourself with your rights under any third-party privacy notice

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION AND SECURE INFORMATION TRANSMISSIONS?

However, doing so is allowed, but at your own risk. Some of the information you may enter on our Site may be transmitted securely via a secure medium known as Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL. Credit Card information should never be transmitted via email.
CapTech may use software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing the number of visitors to the different sections of our Site, what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas.
For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, CapTech uses software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage.
