This week, CapTech Manger and Agile Coach Will Fehringer was featured on the SQL Data Partners podcast. The SQL Data Partners Podcast offers a variety of data related topics in addition to professional development advice. He discussed the lessons that technologists can learn from superheroes. From Wonder Woman to Drax the Destroyer, superhero stories provide valuable anecdotes that can help technologists better handle day-to-day situations. Will tackles the issue of Superhero Syndrome, saying "[When] we over-commit to something or we set too ambitious of a deadline. All of a sudden, we have that "uh oh" moment where we realize that we've got way more work than we're able to get done" and, "When you become the go-to person, it's very easy to feel like your role in the world is a bit inflated."

Another issue Will tackles is the Fool's Choice, saying, "You can either tell an uncomfortable truth that you need to tell to move the conversation forward, or you can stay silent and keep the peace.
