CapTech to be Official Technology Partner for the Climb to Conquer Cancer

CapTech
Climb to Conquer Cancer

On Saturday September 23rd, as a part of the "Climb to Conquer Cancer" local cyclists will be given the opportunity to climb the cobblestones on Libby Hill in Richmond, VA, to raise money for the Massey Cancer Center in Richmond. The "Climb to Conquer Cancer" is organized by local non-profit Amy's Army of Cancer Warriors–an organization dedicated to raising awareness about cancer research and prevention.

As the technology partner for the event, CapTech will provide technology solutions for a custom Leaderboard, leveraging Strava data, to display race stats and results. Additionally, CapTech will deliver technology solutions for streaming content, including live videos, drone photography, and sponsor details to be viewed by riders and spectators throughout the event.

The funds raised by this event will be used in particular for research on cancer disparities (minorities are much more likely to die from cancer), as well as transportation disparities (you cannot be cured of cancer if you cannot get to your appointments).
