On October 19th, the Science Museum of Virginia will host the 6th Annual rvatech/women Conference. Organized by rvatech, this sold out event will feature a panel of keynote speakers, breakout sessions for learning about such topics as AI, digital entrepreneurship, creating an Alexa skill, and ample opportunities for networking. CapTech is a rvatech partner and is proud to be supporting the event.
Keynote speakers for 2017 include MIT scientist Jeanne Ross, Microsoft VP of IT Jacky Wright, Presidential Fellow Lexa Pope, Federal Reserve VP Tammy Hornsby, and General Electric Global CISO Nasrin Rezai.
Additionally, CapTech Senior Consultant, Cherie Magennis, will be running a hands-on demonstration and workshop showcasing how to create Alexa skills. This workshop is co-sponsored by Women Who Code RVA and CapTech.
