Accurately tracking donations and managing donor communications is pivotal to the foundation’s operations, but its existing Salesforce instance was plagued with duplicate data entries and disparate workflows. The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation collaborated with CapTech to create a custom application to improve data insights and integrate seamlessly with its donor engagement platform.
Challenge
The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation relies on Salesforce to manage donor relations and track donations. The foundation’s existing Salesforce instance was not connected to its donor engagement platform and data within the system was poorly organized and plagued with duplicates, causing frustration and wasted time trying to locate data for reporting.
Approach
CapTech collaborated with The Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation to build a new, custom application that centralized its daily activities in an easy-to-use interface. The team also connected the foundation’s donor management platform so that donations and contact information can flow seamlessly into Salesforce. Over 50,000 duplicate records were removed from the system, dramatically improving data insights and reliability. CapTech also worked onsite to train the Lynn Sage team on how to use and maintain their custom application to deliver powerful results across the organization.
