This statement describes CapTech’s commitment to actively address the risks of human trafficking and modern slavery in our businesses and supply chain. Our policies, Core Values and Employee Value Statement are embedded in our culture and articulate the behavioral, ethical and operational responsibility we have to our employees, clients, business and suppliers.
Our Approach
Since people are our key asset, we have processes in place to provide them with a safe and welcoming place to work. Each year, employees must attest to our written Code of Conduct. This is a reminder that they must uphold their behavioral and ethical commitments to CapTech and its clients. All employees also have access to CapTech Direct – an anonymous and confidential HR, Ethics and Compliance hotline. This channel allows our people to raise concerns about any unethical, illegal or dangerous practices they observe – including human trafficking and modern slavery -- within CapTech or client projects without fear of retaliation.
CapTech operates exclusively within the United States. We do not act as a producer, manufacturer or retailer of physical goods. Therefore, our supply chain is relatively limited. Through our contracting and risk review processes, we continuously work to have the appropriate controls in place. This allows us to source responsibly and stay vigilant should any potential or current suppliers and clients put us at risk. We understand the severity of human trafficking and modern slavery and are committed to the fight against these practices.
