What is TGL?

Changing the Game

TGL is a new golf league that fuses live play with a virtual course, presented by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy in a first-of-its kind arena. 6 teams will compete in a technology-infused arena where 1,500 fans will cheer on the world’s best golfers in a completely new version of golf.

CapTech’s Impact

As TGL’s official tech partner, we led the game design, scoring system architecture, and product development, breaking new ground for a historic industry. CapTech helped design the league format, architected the scoring system (ScoreSight), and worked with TGL to develop multiple products to build their audience.

Built for Prime Time

This new twist on a classic sport aims to engage new audiences, reinvigorate existing fans, and make golf more widely accessible. And it will all be broadcast live on prime time TV. TGL Matches will be played in prime time, on ESPN, in a fast-paced format - making golf approachable and accessible to a broad audience of golf and sports fans.

What We Did
