In December 2017, the CapTech Richmond's Women's Technology Leadership Coalition (TLC) supported the Ronald McDonald House by providing activity packs as part of its Happy Wheels program. The RMH helps families who have a child receiving medical treatment at a Richmond-area medical facility. RMH sponsors multiple programs, including running a home to provide meals and a place for families to stay together, sponsoring in-hospital programs, and providing scholarships. In total, we collected enough for about 82 kits.

Rosemary Cooke, one of the CapTechers who helped spearhead the effort said, "Last year the Women's TLC conducted a few drives similar to this one and, although I am never let down by the amount of donations and everyone's generosity, this event left me very inspired and even prouder of our CapTech ladies, and we completely surpassed my expectations."

Additionally, CapTech consultant Meg Beattie led a group of CapTechers from the Richmond office and they prepared dinner for the Ronald McDonald House of Richmond residents. They shopped, cooked, and transferred the dinner in reusable containers for families to serve themselves at their convenience.

Beattie says, "The event was a great way to connect with CapTechers while giving back to a great cause! It was nice to gather with coworkers who are staffed on various projects throughout the Richmond area. It was a very fun event that we'd definitely do again."
