Technology Association of Georgia Announces Appointment of CapTecher to Board of Directors

CapTecher Lance Walton, a Director in our Atlanta office, was recently appointed to the Data Governance board of Directors for the Technology Association of Georgia, an organization that strives to raise awareness of Data Governance as a transformational business function. TAG also focuses on other disciplines such as international business, mobility, entertainment technology, and project management, to name a few.

Lance is an experienced member of our Data and Analytics practice and said of his appointment, "I'm honored to join TAG's Data Governance Board of Directors. Having a collaborative environment to discuss strategies for building a world-class Data Governance Office from those that have done it - or are doing it - will be a great experience, and will expand the value we deliver to clients."

TAG currently has over 35,000 members and over 2,000 companies in its network, and will be hosting its first event of the year, an Introduction to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), on March 9. This expert panel discussion will provide foundational knowledge around GDPR and why it is important.
