Jonelle Levy has always made room in her life for volunteering and giving back. Since joining CapTech in 2022, Jonelle has focused on supporting two organizations with long-standing CapTech ties: the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB) and the Covenant House of Georgia (CHoG).
Last year during the Atlanta Office’s Week of Caring event, Jonelle, along with a team of other CapTechers and their families, sorted, packed, and redistributed over 10,000 lbs of food for the ACFB. In addition to volunteering onsite, Jonelle participates in other annual ACFB fundraising events, such as the Hunger Walk/Run. An added benefit of volunteering with the ACFB, Jonelle says, is networking with other volunteering companies and introducing them to the CapTech brand.
Jonelle is also involved with The Covenant House of Georgia, an organization that “opens doors of opportunity and hope to youth experiencing homelessness and escaping trafficking.” On any given night in Atlanta, there are approximately 2500 homeless youth, and that statistic has motivated Jonelle to remain an active CHoG volunteer.
Over the years, CapTech has led design, innovation and job skills workshops with CHoG youth, and has participated in “sleep-outs” to raise awareness for youth homelessness.
