Richmond CapTechers Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity

On October 15th, CapTech RVA's women came together for one of Habitat for Humanity's Women's Build volunteer days to help build the future home of a family in need. Our CapTech RVA ladies both sponsored and participated in the event, donating a total of $320 towards the build. Those who participated were excited to meet and work alongside the future owner, Michael Joseph, and his son. Michael is a single father of four and, thanks to our warmhearted CapTech volunteers, he will be able to provide a home for his children. The donation not only assists the build, but also helps first-time homeowners like Michael attend classes in Habitat's homeownership program, which teaches them about homeownership and finance.
