CapTech Atlanta participates in A Salute to the Life and Times of Henry Aaron

CapTech was honored to be invited to serve on the planning committee and donate website design and hosting services for A Salute to the Life and Times of Henry Aaron. The event was held Friday, Feb. 3 at the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta, Ga. The fundraising event honored the lifetime achievements of Henry Aaron and his commitment to helping young people chase their dreams. CapTech's Atlanta Office leader Boyd Christian served on the planning committee and Sr. Manager Ramon Matos donated time to build a WordPress site to facilitate ticket purchases and donations. The site raised $55,000 through ticket purchases. The foundation itself raised over $2 Million for The Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation (HACDF), a 501(c) charitable foundation created by Hank and Billye Aaron in 1995. Proceeds from the event went directly toward endowing the Foundation's "4 for 4" Scholarship program that enables college and university students to chase their own dreams.
