CapTech Announces Expansion into Atlanta Market

CapTech

ATLANTA, GA – September 16, 2016 – National management and IT consulting firm CapTech announced today that it has expanded its presence in the Southeast with the opening of a new office in Atlanta, Georgia. CapTech is now located in 11 major markets across the United States.

CapTech consistently ranks in the top five of Consulting Magazine's Best Firms to Work For and has been on Inc. Magazine's Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies for ten years. In the last decade, the company has quadrupled in size and has a compound annual growth of nearly 16.5%. CapTech employs more than 600 consultants enterprise-wide. In Atlanta, they are creating jobs for top technology and management consulting talent, and expect to add fifty new positions over the next two years.

CapTech said this expansion reflects the strength of their fast-growing business, especially for digital transformation projects that help their clients gain financial and competitive advantages in a data-driven world where the customer is king. The company said their future growth expectations are reinforced by a recent Forrester Consulting study commissioned by CapTech[1]. The study revealed that 63% of IT sourcing decision-makers plan to shift digital projects away from offshore firms and back to U.S. providers because of the need for local collaboration and innovation.

"Gas South chose CapTech to help us develop new strategies and tools for managing our data and enhancing our analytical capacity," said Kevin Greiner, Gas South president and CEO. "We have found their team to be the ideal partner – smart, innovative, accessible, and fantastic at building relationships with our team to deliver value. CapTech is the type of partner that fits Gas South's culture and needs extremely well, and we're very pleased to see them commit to Atlanta."

"Atlanta is the hub of the South and there is an explosion of global business impact," said CapTech CEO Kevin McQueen. "Having served the market for a number of years, we now bring a local presence of technical depth, along with our spirit of collaboration, to drive engagement, growth, and transformation for our clients."

CapTech's Lead Director in the Atlanta office is Boyd Christian, who has lived and worked in market for the past 16 years. "There is an entrepreneurial spirit in our Atlanta office," said Christian. "Our approach is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients, understanding their needs and exceeding expectations before delivering custom solutions. We offer 100% onshore, full-time employees who can work collaboratively with our clients to develop innovative solutions, deliver and get to market quickly."

The firm has a strong focus on participating in and giving back to the community. A member of both the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, CapTech has partnered with Community Consulting Teams Atlanta to provide pro bono service to The Shepherd Center. In addition, CapTechers are supporting and volunteering with local charities such as the Covenant House Georgia, City of Refuge, and Enable Georgia.

CapTech's Atlanta office is located at 1447 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 700, Atlanta, GA 30309. For more information, contact Boyd Christian or Adam Hofheimer.
