Print-on-demand supplier, CompanyBox, looked to CapTech to help them turn ideas into action, with the goal of being an online destination where people can quickly find exactly what they needed, see true-to-life product samples, and easily place an order.

In addition to an attractive new web presence, the growing and innovative packaging specialist wanted to increase subscription services for repeat clients and attract and keep customers through a clearly communicated, relatable brand identity. A better customer experience that educated clients in choosing the right box style and logo designs also appeared on their list of must-haves.

With strong importance placed on customer service, a seamless web experience and an effortless, guided decision-making process also needed to be top priorities. And to continue their position as a disruptive industry leader, CompanyBox wanted to showcase its web-to-print technology, environmental responsibility, and of course, its state-of-the-art packaging products.

Results

Both returning and new customers now rave over the dynamic new site. Using animated product images to bring the products to life, the interactive site allows customers to easily create and visualize their boxes—from flat to folded.

CapTech began the process of refreshing the CompanyBox online presence by conducting a brand workshop that led to the creation of brand pillars, a new brand statement, and a brand story, ensuring their ethos shone through in the new site. Using data-driven analytics, we collaborated with the client to diversify content and cast a wider net for search engine optimization.

Crucial to any website, we built a firm foundation by starting with an interactive architecture and wireframes to guide design. Our content strategy allowed for a seamless customer experience, including defining page content, determining how pages operated, and fresh header copy to boost page rank.

To illustrate products in a new and exciting way, our visual designers provided art direction for the animated GIFs that allow users to see what their boxes will look like before placing an order. As desired, the GIFs help CompanyBox customers be a part of the packaging design process, giving them confidence in the products they purchase and ultimate satisfaction in choosing CompanyBox.
