CapTech is excited to be present at the ServiceNow Knowledge15 conference in Las Vegas! Running April 19 through April 24, the annual ServiceNow conference promises to be an exciting opportunity for exploring new areas, discussing hot trends, and networking with others throughout the industry. A brand new certification is being offered as a part of the conference during the sold-out CreatorCon that runs Thursday and Friday. With over 200 breakout sessions, tons of labs, and great opportunities to speak with industry experts, the week promises to be a great success!

ServiceNow CEO Frank Slootman will be kicking off the main conference days with his keynote on Tuesday morning "Managing Everything as a Service". As always, we're excited to hear what the ServiceNow executives have to say about the direction of the company and the product in the coming year.

This year's content carries a strong focus on expanding the provision of service management and automation beyond the IT department. We look forward to hearing how ServiceNow customers have expanded the use of their own instances beyond IT. In addition, industry experts will offer valuable best practice recommendations on how to use ServiceNow to properly improve business functions throughout the entire organization.

The CapTech group will be checking out a wide variety of sessions. Personally, I am excited to attend some of the labs in order to learn more about:

  • using AngularJS within the context of the ServiceNow platform
  • integrating ServiceNow with other tools using REST web services
  • handling asset management inside of ServiceNow

Over the next few days, feel free to comment here or reach out to me directly (relliott@captechconsulting.com) with any questions on the conference content. Also, be sure to come see us at Holly Fischer's "The Challenge of Delivering a Simple Service Catalog" on Tuesday at 11:10 AM where our own Drew Bowman will be presenting alongside of Holly.
